X-plore is a dual-pane file manager that has been ported from Symbian to Android operating system. It provides Root control for your applications on rooted devices. The app will help you to execute standard operations as moving, copying, renaming, and deleting. Also, you can unpack or create new ZIP archives and work with APK files.
The program’s interface allows you to manage your files and folders using two panels and the central menu. There are a variety of customization options for themes, buttons, text coding, object height, and font. You can easily move and copy files from a directory to another one. At the first glance, the left pane has seven tabs: SD card, Root, LAN, Web storage, App manager, DLNA, and Show. You can open each of them to find files and additional options. A number of tabs can vary. If you need to select a file, you should tap on a check mark that is opposite a name of your file. You can also press on a file and wait a second to invoke an operational menu. It allows you to copy, move, delete, share, duplicate, and show details of a selected file. Users can download and upload files using cloud services.
Some people can think that it’s a complicated file explorer with a strange interface. And in fact, it is a reliable and powerful file manager that has a lot of useful options. But there is a short period of adaptation before you will start using all features of the app. Also, this program can be a good alternative to Root Browser.
