imo

imo – is a mobile client of imo.im web service. It allows users to send free messages and make calls (video and audio). Plus, you can share media files (images, videos and picture albums), audio notes and stickers. There is also group chat support. An encryption mechanism provides a strong protection. You can be sure that there are no any threats for your correspondence and confidentiality.

At first, you need to select your country. Then enter the phone number. You’ll get PINCD titled message on your phone. It has a verification code. Enter it into the registration field. Now you can use sending and calling functions of imo.

The interface is very simple. There are only two background colors – white and gray. And there are only two tabs – Chats and Contacts. Chats can be used for inviting people and chatting. Contacts will display all your friends who are online at the moment. There are also call, group chat and search buttons in the lower part of the screen.

imo is positioning as a cross-platform service with free SMS and high quality connection. Some people say that it’s similar to Viber or WhatsApp. And they will be right. These applications have almost the same functionality. But there are minor differences that related to additional functions as album sharing or secret correspondence.
