Paragon NTFS

Paragon NTFS is not an ordinary utility. It is a unique program which helps you work with Windows files on Mac OS X. The developer’s manual tells us that the program was based on high speed technology – Universal File System Driver. The main function of this software is exchanging data between Windows and Mac file systems. And it’s considered as the system NTFS driver.

This utility will be installing as a driver, not as a usual program. You need to restart your system after the installation. It’s easy in use. So, you don’t need to set up this software. It will provide quick access to all partitions (in NTFS). And there are no reasons to worry about safety because Paragon NTFS supports modified HFS Plus file system. It has guarantee that all you data will be secure. The utility works with HDD (IDE, SCSI and SATA/eSATA support), SSD and PC cards.

You can see 2 taps in the program’s interface – Settings and Volumes. Users have 4 options for volumes: Unmount, Set as startup, Verify and Erase. You can also set custom or default icon for your storage devices. Setting menu is used for updating and activating.

Paragon Software released free version of NTFS utility in 2014. However the program hasn’t all options comparing with the paid version of this brand product. It’s absolutely free. And there are no time limits as in the trial version. But there is one critical issue. Free version of Paragon NTFS is only for Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard. You can’t run it up in a modern operating system.
