For the first evolution, you need to upgrade your hero up to Legendary 10 star status (180+ level) to discover Evolve button. Also, you should have 1000 red crystals. Tap on it and use the 1 Evolution rune and 1 hero duplicate, or 20000 shards.

For the second evolution, you have to a hero with Legendary 10 star (185+ level), 5 Evolution runes, 2000 red crystals, and 3 duplicates, or 60000 shards (20000 shards per 1 hero duplicate).
