IrfanView is a comprehensive and free image viewer. It also can convert picture formats that could be useful for photo editing. It provides thumbnail view, multimedia player, drawing and editing tools, visual effects, red-eye reduction, and screen capture. The program supports 32-bit and 64-bit systems and allows users to view lots of media formats as PNG, JPEG, RAW, PSD, WMV, EPS, MP3, and others. You have to choose file extensions which will be associated with IrfanView and INI file folder during installation.

If you want to select drawing tools, you should open Edit tab and choose Show Paint dialog (F12 key). It provides Text, Fill Bucket, Pencil, Brush, Stamp, Ruler, Color Picker, and selection tools. To apply effects, resizing and color correction, use Image tab. To change the language, you need to open Options tab and select appropriate function.
