Run the application and switch to Video tab.

Click on Settings → Sound → select Default Sound Device. Usually, it outputs the sound that you hear in your headphone or speakers. Then select Secondary Sound Device and choose your the best microphone you got.

You can also check Two Sound Mixing option if you want to mix sound from your desktop or game with a mic.
