How to change a resolution and bitrate in XSplit Gamecaster?

Launch the application and click on Settings tab.

Then go to Stream Settings → switch this parameter to Custom and click on the gear icon.

The properties window will appear. There you can set up your video bitrate by selecting Manual, Adaptive or Manual, Constant values. Don't set it too high if your hardware shows low performance or you have a slow Internet connection.

You can set your screen resolution. However, there is a list of presets. You should pick one of the following values: 240p Low, 360p Standard, 480p Medium, 540p High, 720p HD, 1080 Full HD, or 1440 Quad HD.

Also, you can set up a resolution and bitrate for your video recording.
