Cannot rotate Nikon RAW files

I have been using, and generally really like the Faststone Viewer software, but have a question about the rotate feature. I am shooting RAW files with a Nikon D810 and D500. I cannot rotate any of the files in Faststone. Every other application I have used (Adobe Bridge, View NX2, View NXi, etc) all rotate these files. Can anyone suggest a reason why this is not working for me in Faststone Viewer?
