Yes. You can't zoom or rotate in BlueStacks. If you will choose New Game, then you'll stuck on camera rotation. So, you need to skip tutorial using other device and loading data option. Watch this video:

You also cannot see sims portraits or apparently the closet items.

You can zoom if you are on a Macbook Air, take two fingers in the middle and bring them outwards on the trackpad.
