IZArc is the reliable archiver that supports AES encryption. This utility allows you make self-extracting archives, to create multi-volume archives and unzip them. Besides, there is converting function for archives and CD images. You can also use comments in archives and protect them via password locking.
The program has a simple interface which is similar to a standard file manager. There are two columns. The functional menu is over them. If you want to unpack your archive, just click on Add button. Then choose an archive file. And it will appear in the left column. Archive files will be displayed in the right column. Select them and use right-click button of the mouse to choose Extract option (or push on Extract button). Then you can set up a folder where archive files will be copied. You can all select files and drag-and-drop them into folders using Windows explorer (or file manager).
If you want to create a multi-volume set, you should use Ctrl + W combination. Ctrl + M allows you to merge multi-volume archives. To comment an archive, choose Actions tab and select Comments option. There are also testing option that will help you to check the file status. If your archive has broken file, it’ll be displayed in the log.
One of the main features of this application is VirusTotal integration. You can check your archives using the popular antivirus service. However, an amount of requests is limited by 4 per minute.
