VLC Media Player is versatile and convenient software for video watching. It distributes as the free and cross-platform player. The app has support for audio and video formats, as MKV, MP4, MP3, WAV, FLV, AVI, and others. Users can add subtitles to loaded videos and change audio tracks. There are Adjustments and Effects options. You can play streaming videos in your web browser and save it as a video file on a hard drive disk. Besides, the program has a lot of useful tricks that are not obvious at first glance. For example, the player allows you to convert files by Ctrl + R: just add your file and click on the Convert/Save button to select a video codec for converting.
